Alicante Airport is located 11km south of Alicante at El Altet. It is a modern, well served airport with 38 check-in desks and an annual capacity of 7 million passengers.

Access

Car : From Alicante, take the Autovia Alicante-Murcia and leave at the airport junction; alternatively, take the national road N-340 to the airport. From Benidorm, take the Autopista A-7.

Taxis : The taxi rank is situated in front of the arrivals hall. The taxis are well kept. The trip to Alicante is approximately 20€ taking 15-20 minutes, to Benidorm it’s about 45€.

Bus : All buses depart from opposite the arrivals hall. Scheduled buses run hourly to/from Alicante central bus station between 7.30am and 10.30pm. A ticket costs 1.5€. Buses also leave for Benidorm and Murcia from the airport.

A post office, bureau de change, a good selection of restaurants, cafeterias and bars, VIP lounge, 3 duty free shops, gift shops, record shop, shoe shops, newsagent, pharmacy, travel agent, tourist help desk, car rental, taxi rank, Baby/Parent Room and disabled access.

Car hire : There are several car hire companies with offices at the airport including Avis, Auriga, Centauro, Europcar, Europa Car, Hertz, Sol-Mar and Record Rent a Car.

Car Parking : There are two car parks with a total of 1,500 spaces based outside the arrivals and departure lounges. Long and short-term parking are available.
