Does anybody know of any car boot sales around the Granada area?? Tired of having to drive to the coast to find one. If not, what would be the general opinion about trying to start one around here? We all have stuff we want to get rid of.

Afraid we cannot help with your query, but would appreciate info on where you have found boot sales on the coast. We only know about one in neighbouring Almeria at Almerimar...so something a little closer would be a bonus. We are near to La Rabita.

Nerja on a Sunday morning, not huge but quite busy. Just by Flamingo urb. Or 1st Saturday of the month big Rastrillo in Almunecar by McDonalds. Really big car boot/market in Torremolinos every Sunday, but that may be even further away for you

Thanks Theaby..the one at Almunecar sounds good to us and close enough to travel. Nerja maybe just a little too far just for a boot sale but could be incorporated into a day out there.

Almunecar flea market (aka Car Boot) is the first Sat of every month. Weekly, on Fridays, its the usual market. I believe its 10 per vehicle and you need to get there pretty early (Mrs B says 05:00 - but don't blame me if she's wrong). Plum stands are around the perimiter, but the regulars have got those bagged. Casual, or first timers, get to go "down the middle" which is not perhaps the best place to be as the casual wanderers tend to think its just the back of the perimeter stands (if that makes sense).

Hope this helps...
