Anyone out living or has a holiday home in Albunol? I have lived here for nearly four years now and we love it.

Yes, we have a place out there...will eventually be coming out to live when I retire. Must agree with you its a fantastic little spot..our place is between Albunol and La Rabita, which is another place we cannot get enough of.

Have been hearing and reading some info about an alleged new marina and goldf course down on the coast...have you heard anything?</font>

<font class="content">Yes at El Pozuelo, the greenhouses are going , that is when they can agree a price, 9 hole golf course with hotel, houses and a marina, supposed to have been started soonish but dont hold yer breath.
Also we are supposed to be having a by pass around Albunol imminently
by the way the bridge has finally been spanned over the Huarea rambla.

<font class="content">Thanks for that...didn't seem to be much happening down at El Pozuello but the bridge just had one section left to go when we were last out there in Feb. Good news about the bypass for Albunol...it is such a bottle neck...got stuck there for ages one Friday night with traffic backing up in all directions!</font>

we are visiting Albunol next week to look at a property at Cortijo Bajo. Now retired we would welcome information on accessibility to shops etc and in particular medical centres.We already have NIE numbers and bank accounts so some of the work has been done.

Our Casa overlooks Cortijo Bajo and Los Castillos. Albunol has all the shops you would need with farmacia and doctors, banks etc...it can be a little "hilly" to say the least, in parts. Few shops down in La Rabita, but your nearest big supermarket would be El Ejido or Motril.

Have a good visit...may see you around as we are out there for a couple of weeks from tuesday </font>
