I have bought a Spanish pay as you go mobile phone for use whilst out in Spain. It is a motorola c139 on the amena network. Does anyone know how to access what credit is left on the phone. I've tried every menu option with no success at all. Please help this technically challenged individual!

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, I do not know the PAYG Credit number for Amena.

With Movistar you 'phone 333 and hear a recorded message. End call and you receive a text message stating credit left. I feel sure Amena will use the same system. However, the 'phone number may not be the same.

Sorry I can not be of more help.

Cheers Chris,

I'm sure it will be easy. I hve change dthe phone settings to English, but all the handbooks are in Spanish and any help line is also in Spanish and I haven't yet mastered the language!

I use the Amena network with my Nokia phone and use the code *111#

Alternatively, I believe you can ring Amena on free call 470 and go through a menu (but only if you can understand Spanish!) I kept pressing menu option 1 and eventually I got a text back telling me what the credit balance was.

The *111# option is much simpler!

Good luck
