Details

The airport is 45km from Murcia and lies o­n the north shore of the Mar Menor. It is a small compact airport with just 4 check-in desks but an annual capacity of almost 1.5 million passengers. The passenger capacity grows each year as more and low cost airlines choose Murcia as a destination.

Access

By car: The airport can be reached by road from the Mar Menor motorway and from the AP-7.

By taxi: The Taxi rank is immediately outside the terminal building. A trip to Alicante costs 80€ (1 hr), Mojacar 150€, Murcia 42€ (50 mins), La Manga 42€ (1 hr 20mins) and Mazarron 60 €.

By Bus: There is o­ne bus route, the Latbus Line 73, a special service. This runs between the airport and Murcia city centre. The journey takes 45 minutes and costs 7€.

Car parking: The car park is opposite the main terminal building and offers short term parking.
