Should anyone have a break in, then it must be reported to the local Guardia, Garrucha for Mojacar.

Take passports etc., the Guardia will then complete a form in triplicate with details of damage and theft.

It is a good idea to write down any articles stolen with values before you go, as there is normally no-one who speaks English.

They will supply a copy for insurance purposes.

The same rule applies for car break ins or theft.
